Extended Operating Hours for Spring Season
To accommodate the increase in cargo volumes anticipated during the spring season, Baltic Container Terminal is pleased to announce the extension of its gate operating hours effective 10 March 2026.
New Gate Hours
The extended schedule applies to all import and export container operations at the terminal gate:
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 22:00
- Saturday: 07:00 – 20:00
- Sunday: Standard hours apply (08:00 – 16:00)
Pre-booking Requirement
All truck arrivals during extended hours must be pre-booked through the BCT prebooking portal at prebooking.bct.lv no less than two hours before the planned arrival time. Unbooked arrivals during extended hours may experience delays.
Crane and Equipment Availability
Full crane capacity and equipment resources will be available throughout the extended operating window. BCT has increased staffing levels to ensure service standards are maintained across all shifts.
Duration
The extended hours will remain in effect through 30 June 2026, subject to review based on cargo volumes and operational requirements. Any further changes will be communicated with at least five business days’ notice.
