BCT's warehousing complex provides 36,000 square metres of covered storage space directly connected to the terminal yard, road network, and rail sidings. Our warehouse facilities support cargo consolidation, distribution, and value-added logistics services for a wide range of cargo types.
Warehouse Specifications
The BCT warehouse complex is designed for high-throughput cargo operations with direct multimodal connectivity:
- Total covered area: 36,000 m²
- Clear height: 9 metres
- Floor load capacity: 5 tonnes per m²
- Direct rail siding access inside the warehouse
- Multiple truck loading docks with levellers
- CCTV and access control throughout
Cargo Types Accepted
BCT warehouses handle a broad range of cargo categories, including:
- General cargo and break-bulk
- Project cargo and oversized items
- Palletised goods
- Bagged and bulk commodities
- Hazardous cargo (subject to separate approval)
Value-Added Services
In addition to storage, BCT offers cargo handling, sorting, palletising, and re-packing services within the warehouse. Our team can coordinate with customs authorities on-site, as the warehouse operates under customs control procedures within the Freeport of Riga.
Customs & Free Zone
Goods stored within the BCT warehouse may benefit from the free zone status of the Freeport of Riga, allowing deferred customs clearance and simplified transit procedures. Our logistics team can advise on applicable customs regimes.
