Reefer Storage
BCT provides specialised reefer container storage with over 500 powered plug points distributed throughout the terminal yard. Temperature-sensitive cargo is maintained under continuous monitoring conditions, ensuring cargo integrity from vessel discharge through to final delivery or onward transit.
Reefer Infrastructure
Our reefer storage area is equipped to handle the full range of refrigerated container types and temperature requirements:
- Over 500 reefer plug points (400V / 32A, 3-phase)
- Temperature range: -30°C to +30°C
- Compatible with all standard 20ft and 40ft reefer units
- Dedicated reefer monitoring stations in the yard
- Alarm response within 15 minutes, 24/7
24/7 Monitoring
All connected reefer units are monitored around the clock by trained reefer technicians. Temperature logs and alarm records are maintained for each unit and are available to clients upon request. In the event of a temperature deviation or power fault, our team responds immediately and coordinates with the cargo owner or agent.
Pre-Trip Inspection
BCT offers pre-trip inspection (PTI) services for reefer containers prior to stuffing or vessel loading. Our certified technicians verify unit performance, temperature settings, and power connections, providing a written inspection report upon completion.
Booking Reefer Services
Reefer plug allocation must be reserved in advance through the BCT prebooking system. Please contact our operations department to confirm availability and technical requirements for your cargo.
